About
Gi
Gi comes to DME Academy, Sarasota fresh off of an impressive collegiate playing career. She was a standout player at Lakewood Ranch High School before signing for the Division I University of Maryland where she played for a year. She transferred to another Division I school, Florida Atlantic University where she finished her college career and graduated with a degree. She boasted an impressive playing career and in her final season was named a United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American. The Owls’ midfielder made history in doing so, by becoming the first all-America recipient in FAU women’s soccer history.
At DME, she is penciled in to coach the 2011 Girls Black Team and is already working towards her coaching license. Her grit, hard work, on-the-field experience, and energy make her a perfect role model for our female athletes!
