About

Aleks

Coach Aleks is a passionate young coach entering his second season with DME Academy. With a strong international background and an infectious energy for the game, he brings a unique blend of experience and enthusiasm to every training session.

Originally from Moscow, Russia, Aleks received the majority of his soccer education in Austria, where he played in one of the country’s top youth leagues. At just 15 years old, he began training with a local semi-professional senior team—eventually becoming the youngest goalkeeper in club history to compete at the senior level.

Aleks moved to the U.S. to attend the University of Florida, where he served as the starting goalkeeper for the UF Men’s Club Soccer Team all four years. Under his leadership, the team rose to become the top-ranked club in Florida and one of the top 20 in the nation.

After earning his degree in Sport Management, Aleks dove into coaching with the same intensity he brought to the field. He began his coaching journey in Gainesville with a 2011 boys team, and upon moving to the Sarasota area, continued his development with DME, where he successfully coached the 2008 & 2013 Boys teams.

Aleks is driven to help young athletes unlock their potential through hard work, focus, and a deep love for the game. His international experience, leadership, and goalkeeper expertise make him a valuable asset to every player he works with.
