Early Development (Rec) Soccer Training
At DME Academy, Sarasota we are on a mission to develop advanced athletes. Traditional soccer clubs run "rec" soccer programs. Most rec programs hand your 3-year-old a ball, put a parent volunteer on the sideline, and call it development. Little Legends is different.
At DME Academy Sarasota, we run the same development philosophy for our youngest players that we run for our competitive teams. That means our six-week seasons are led by Senior Coaching Staff—not volunteers—and built around small-sided play: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3. More touches. More decisions. More moments where your child grows.
For newcomers, we ease players in with parent involvement on the field — so your child feels comfortable, confident, and ready to take on the session. When they're ready, they fly solo.
We skip the lopsided weekend games. We skip the standing-in-lines drills. We focus on the ball, the player, and the love of the game—because the habits formed at ages 3 and 4 matter more than most people think.
This is where legends start.
