Two Seasons In.Back In The Spring.
We entered the United Premier Soccer League, won our division in the first campaign, and played a second season. We are sitting out this fall to put our staff and our hours where they matter most right now — player development and MLS NEXT. The senior side returns in the spring.

No UPSL Side This Fall.We are not entering a team for the fall season. Tryouts for the spring campaign will be announced here and in Spond.
What We Did
Champions In Our
First Season.
DME Academy Sarasota entered the UPSL Premier Division in Fall 2025 and won the Florida West Division at the first attempt, finishing 8–1–1. We played a second campaign in the spring. The point was to prove the development model carries from youth football into the senior game — and it did.
Why We Are Sitting Out
The Hours Had To Go Somewhere.
A senior team is not a side project. It takes coaches, field time and match days — the same three things our youth teams need most this season. So we made a choice.
Development First
Our coaches are with the age groups where the work compounds. That is where the club grows, and that is where our families are.
MLS NEXT Comes First
The MLS NEXT calendar is the heaviest we run. It gets our best staff, our best field slots and our full attention.
Back Properly, Not Halfway
We would rather pause one season and return with a real roster and a real plan than field a team that does not meet the standard.

The UPSL side was never a separate club. It was the top rung of the same ladder — and that is exactly how it comes back.
A Real Last Step
The roster blended 2010-born players through senior professionals, so our best young athletes trained and competed against grown men every week. There is no substitute for that, and no youth league that replicates it.
Coached From Inside The Club
Led by Jake Dube, formerly head coach at St. Pete Aztecs, with John Taylor, our Assistant Director of Coaching. Both coach youth age groups here every week — and both came through the staff at New College of Florida.
