2009 Boys Take Over DME Daytona – Pre Season Camp

August 9, 2024

How many youth soccer clubs run proper pre-season camps? Most competitive clubs start practices and jump right into their 2 to 3 practices per week for 1.5 hours. Thats not a pre-season, thats the season and its no way to get warmed up for a long year. Because of our strong relationship with the mothership (DME Academy, Daytona), and the resources we have at our disposal, we can simply offer more to committed and passionate soccer athletes in our country. Teams from DME Sarasota, were offered the opportunity to head up to Daytona for a three day, all inclusive experience to get fit, sharp and bond as a unit. Last week, the 2009 boys (both black and blue) were invited up and participated in on field, classroom, futsal, beach and gym sessions to prepare. They also mixed in a lot of team bonding with social activities at night.

“Coach Konrad and the boys experienced a ton of training. They worked on their fitness, technical, tactical and more importantly, the boys connected, hung out, experienced a top facility and collaborated on team goals.” – Jared Antista, GM & Owner

“This camp was such a great opportunity for the boys to not only get a proper preseason experience but team bond and be together for 3 days straight. Everything was ready and organized upon arrival for the team and we had full access to the complex thanks to Chris & Tia (Daytona Staff). Looking forward to an exciting season!” Carter, Player

“We all got together and builded chemistry that will be the difference maker in a lot of our games. Now  that we all are familiar with each other it will give us the confidence to grow as a team and reach our full potential.” George, Player

DME does things different. We believe, we do it better and the results will speak for themselves in the way our players act, perform and mature over the year. This isn’t club soccer, this is Academy soccer and there clearly is a difference.
