2012 Girls Improve On Three Day Adventure To Daytona

August 10, 2024

Following in the 2009 boys footsteps, the 2012 girls headed to Daytona for a three day all inclusive pre-season camp experience. The girls put in the work on and off the field and are ready for the Lake Nona Season Opener August 16th in Orlando. They spent more than 64 hours together bonding through hard work and effort.

On the field, they had the chance to scrimmage the 2009 Girls from Daytona which helped them with their physicality and speed of play. The girls tested new formations, positional roles and had a chance to put the new players into the mix.

Off the field, the girls studied formations, player roles and even worked on team chemistry through group activities and open dialogue.

“As we continue to grow the Academy, we will be prioritizing experiences like this for all teams. The benefit of this time together is unbelievable in terms of player development, club/academy culture building and jump starting the season.” JT, Assistant Director of Coaching

DME does things different. We believe, we do it better and the results will speak for themselves in the way our players act, perform and mature over the year. This isn’t club soccer anymore, this is Academy soccer and there clearly is a difference.
