DME Academy Sarasota 2010 Boys: Elite Academy Success Leads to National Team Recognition

The 2010 Boys at DME Academy Sarasota have kicked off the 2024/25 season in spectacular fashion, making a statement both on and off the field. With a remarkable 18-1-2 record to date, this talented squad has dominated local and regional competitions, including winning prestigious titles at the Tampa Super Cup and the Lake Nona Season Opener. The team’s impressive form has also translated into top-tier performances in the Elite Academy League (Southeast Division), where they are currently unbeaten with a 7-0-1 record.

As they continue to elevate their game, the 2010 Boys team recently showcased their skills at the Elite Academy League Winter Showcase in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Competing against over 45 teams, the DME squad placed third overall, solidifying their position as one of the top teams in the nation finishing 4-0. But the success didn’t stop there.

Five standout players from the team have earned the prestigious honor of being selected to the National Team, representing the Elite Academy League at the highly competitive MIC Cup in Barcelona. These talented players—Christian Alcaraz, Robbie Motroni, Henry George, Guillermo Quixal, and Lucas Turasz—have not only proven themselves on the local stage but are now set to compete against top international talent in one of the most renowned youth soccer tournaments in the world.

Additionally, two more DME Academy players, Chaz Campbell and Will Pierre, were named to the initial pool of players, marking them as part of the next wave of elite talent rising through the ranks.

The team’s performance this season is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the players and their coaching staff. Under the guidance of DME Academy’s coaching team, the 2010 Boys have shown exceptional growth, discipline, and teamwork, which has led them to national recognition. Their accomplishments on the field reflect their commitment to excellence and their desire to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
