DME Approved Trainers Only

Private Training.Perfectly Matched.

One-to-one soccer training in Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton — with trainers DME Academy Sarasota has personally vetted, licensed and background screened. Tell us five things and we will show you who fits, by position, budget, location, schedule and specialty.

Why This Page Exists

Anyone Can Call Themselves A Trainer. Not everyone should be leading your child. Every trainer listed here is vetted by our staff, Level Two background screened and SafeSport certified — many with USSF licenses and coaching experience to back it up, and all of them accountable to us.

The Standard

What “DME Approved” Actually Means.

Private training is an unregulated market. Parents hand a stranger an hour alone with their child and hope for the best. That is the problem this page is built to fix — so here is exactly what a trainer has to clear before we will put their name on it.

Level Two Background Screened

Every approved trainer clears a Level Two background screening — fingerprinted, state and federal — which is beyond what the leagues require of us.

SafeSport Certified

Current U.S. Soccer SafeSport certification, and our club policies on communication, one-to-one settings and reporting apply to private sessions too.

Licensed Or Proven

A USSF coaching license, or a record that stands in for one — college coaching, national championship experience, or years producing top-ten state teams.

On Our Philosophy

Approved trainers coach the same way we do — technical first, contacts on the ball, and sessions that connect to what the athlete is being asked to do on a team.

Insured And Accountable

Carrying their own coverage, training on approved fields, and answerable to our Director of Coaching. If a session goes wrong, you call us.

Reviewed, Not Rubber Stamped

Approval is renewed each season. We watch sessions, we ask families how it is going, and a trainer who stops meeting the standard comes off this page.

A note on outside trainers. Some names here are DME Academy Sarasota staff. Others are independent trainers we have vetted and approved. Every card tells you which is which — we are not going to blur that line. Are you a trainer who meets the standard above? We are always looking.

Straight Talk

When 1-to-1 Helps — And When It Does Not.

We would rather tell you the truth than sell you hours. Private training is a sharp tool for a specific job, and a poor substitute for a few other things.

Worth Every Dollar When…
  • There is one clear technical gap keeping your athlete off the field.
  • They are a goalkeeper, and team training cannot give them enough reps.
  • They are coming back from injury and need volume they control.
  • They want it. The athlete asked, not the parent.
Not The Answer When…
  • They are not yet playing enough real soccer each week. Games first.
  • It is being used to buy playing time. It does not work that way here.
  • The athlete is already training five days and needs rest, not a sixth.
  • The real issue is decision making, which only shows up in a game.

Questions

What Parents Ask Us.

Do we have to be a DME family to book?

No. Private training is open to any athlete in the Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton area, whatever club they play for. Plenty of the athletes on these fields wear another badge on Saturday.

Does paying for private sessions affect team selection?

It does not, and we will not pretend otherwise. Rosters are decided on what a player does in training and in games. Private sessions can make an athlete better, which shows up on the field — that is the only route they affect anything.

Who sets the rate, and who do we pay?

Each trainer sets their own rate — the figure on the card is their standard hourly for a one-to-one session. You book and pay the trainer directly. The club matches and vets; it does not take a cut of the session.

Can more than one athlete share a session?

Most of our approved trainers will run small groups of two to four, which brings the per-athlete cost down and adds competition to the session. Tell us when you request and we will ask.

What if the trainer is not the right fit?

Tell us. We match you with someone else, and we want to know — approval gets reviewed every season and parent feedback is part of that review.

Where do sessions take place?

On approved fields — usually Oak Park, Tatum Ridge, Premier Sports Campus or a field the trainer holds permits for. Each card lists the areas that trainer covers.

Not Sure Who To Pick?Tell Us About Your Athlete.

Send us the position, the age and the one thing you want fixed. We will put the right approved trainer in front of you — and tell you honestly if private training is not what your athlete needs right now.
