2024/25 DME Academy, Sarasota – Coaching Line Up

Good things come to those who… work hard. We continue to build off an already impressive coaching line up card for the 24/25 season and while coaching licenses are great (and we have a ton of them), commitment and passion for the development of our athletes is the core of who we are.

Coach Breakdown (aligned with above)
Jake Dube returns for year two at DME Academy. He was the first hire for DME last year and a top priority to resign with the Academy. Jake is currently leading the 05/06 boys on an impressive late season run and with one game left, has the opportunity to represent DME in St. Louis in June at the Elite Academy Nationals. His passion for the players is off the charts and if players let him, he gets the most out of them.
In 24/25 Jake will coach the 2006/07 and 2011 Boys Black Teams.
Jake holds his USSF C License.
Jivan Rodriquez returns for year two at DME Academy and has positively impacted the 2008’s teams turn around from bottom of the barrel to potential 24/25 EA Southeast contender. His recruiting, passion and current experiences as a pro player for the USPL Aztecs makes the team love him and want to run through walls.
In 24/25, Jivan will again coach the 2008 Boys Black Team.
Konrad Kozlowski returns for year two at DME Academy and has done remarkable things for both the 2013 and 2009 Boy’s Black Teams. Konrad is timely, prepared and perhaps the best recruiter at DME. Both teams had HUGE wins including the Weston Cup for the 2009 squad and dozens of wins and tournament trophies for the 2013 boys.
In 24/25, Konrad will coach the 2009 and 2012 Boys Black Teams.

John Taylor returns for year two at DME Academy. His cool, calm and professional behavior makes him a club favorite. His return to the field as a Head Coach, focus on fitness and supporting his players all while pushing them forward will help our athletes reach their goals. JT is also the Assistant Director of Coaching.
In 24/25, JT will coach the 2010 Boys Black Team and the 2009/2010 Boys Blue Team.
Greg Atkin returns for year two at DME Academy. Greg has built a reputation for developing players and technically speaking his teams display quality and a knack for possessing the ball with strategy and tactics behind it. Greg is leading the way for our current 2010 Boys Black Team and taking them to Nationals in St. Louis as a top ranked EA team in the country.
In 24/25, Greg will take over two teams on the JR. Academy side coaching the 2013 and 2014 Boys Black Teams. He is working to lead the Academy for U7-U13 age groups as a whole in 24/25 as well!

Randy Otto is a new addition to the DME lineup and comes with glowing recommendations. Randy is an Assistant Coach at New College and previously coached at a local club in the Sarasota area in 24. He is full of energy and passion and knows how to push for development without sacrificing the joy for the game.
In 24/25 Randy and Matt will co-coach the 2015 Boys Black Team.
Matthew Wilcox is a new addition to the DME lineup and comes with glowing recommendations. Matt is an Assistant Coach and Recruiter at New College. This former College Goalkeeper brings professionalism and a unique skill set to the DME family.
In 24/25 Randy and Matt will co-coach the 2015 Boys Black Team.
Tim Betts returns for year two at DME Academy. Tim is a seasoned veteran with a skill set that trumps many area coaches. This former DOC is spread across many lanes at DME. He will coach a team, lead goalkeeper training and run our Friday night skills sessions. Tim is an honest, hard working, experienced coach with a solid reputation.
In 24/25 Tim will coach the 2015/16 Boys Blue Team.
Tim holds his USSF A License.
Nathan Alexander is new to DME in 24/25. He comes to us from New College where he serves as an Assistant Coach to Debbie Pekel. He has coaching experience across club and the collegiate level.
In 24/25 Nathan will co-coach the 2008/2009 Girls Black Team.
Debbie Pekel returns for year two at DME Academy. Debbie is also the Head Coach at New College on the women’s side of the game where she is spearheading the program. At DME in 2024, she lead the 2014 girls team to a top 20 ranking in the state.
In 24/25, Debbie will co-coach the 2008/2009 Girls Black Team and work to strenghen the girls academy as a whole.
Debbie holds his USSF C License and is working towards her B.
Patrick Mulcahy is a new addition to the DME Family. He comes to the program extremely decorated and experienced and has built a reputation as a top coach in the girls game in the Florida and New Hampshire markets. Patrick is firm but fair, professional and pushes the girls to reach new heights. He comes over to the program from Braden River, now Florida Premier South.
In 24/25, Patrick will coach the 2014 and 2010 Girls Black Teams.
Patrick holds his USSF A License.
Scott Morgenroth returns for year two at DME Academy. Scott is the ultimate professional and a stickler for technical work. Scott has helped lead the 2012 girls to a top ten ranking (as high as #1) and push the girls to maximize their potential.
In 24/25, Scott will co-coach the 2012 Girls Black Team with Jared Antista.
Scott holds his USSF A License.
Jared Antista returns for year two at DME Academy.
In 24/25, Scott will co-coach the 2012 Girls Black Team with Scott Morgenroth.
