DME Academy, Tampa Campus
Through a strategic partnership with Patiño Training Grounds, we're bringing the resources, network and competitive soccer program of DME to Tampa. Patiño Training Grounds already provides high quality recreational soccer experience for 5-12 year old boys and girls in the Tampa area serving more than 125 families. Together we are launching competitive teams in 2025/26 under the DME umbrella to extend top soccer training to the Tampa region. Personalized soccer development for athletes that demand more than the big box store experience.
Tampa Program Director
Josh Patiño is a U.S. Soccer Federation A-Licensed Coach with over 15 years of coaching experience. His background includes playing at the semi-professional level and serving as a college coach at Gonzaga University (NCAA DI Women's) and Southern Virginia University (DIII Men's). As a dedicated father of three high-energy and active boys, he brings a dynamic and passionate approach to the field, instilling discipline, teamwork, and leadership in every player he works with. His extensive coaching journey has shaped his deep understanding of the game and commitment to developing athletes at all levels from recreational to competitive.

We will serve the younger age bands of competitive soccer, including athletes aged 2018-2013.
If you want to train in Tampa but play for Sarasota teams, you can do that across all age bands as long as you:
train 1x a week with your Sarasota team during non tournament weekly prep and 2x a week during tournament weekly prep.

If you would like to be in our preferred tournament guest pool, we reserve 1-3 spots per squad. This preferred tournament roster guarantees your athlete can join our team should the need arise throughout the year with the first crack at joining the roster. Plus tournament fees and uniform fees.
