DME Returns Home From Orlando With Ten New Trophies – The Season is here!

What an exciting weekend up in Orlando for the DME Family. 19 Teams were in attendance from the club participating in the Lake Nona Season Opener. Not quite as hot as last years event, but still very hot, the players endured and performed extremely well given the limited number of practice sessions preceding the event.
“We like to get the teams into it right away. Playing for something (a trophy), in a situation where weather, the amount of games, the travel, and connecting with new teammates for the first time lets us see the players from a different perspective. We practice to win and play to win at DME, and building successful people means building strong people on and off the field. We push the kids to develop further and face adversity from day one here. The boys program statistics for the weekend are highlighted by a 23-12-6 record, four champions and two finalists.

- 2014 Boys Black (3-0-1)
- 2012 Boys Black (3-0)
- 2010 Boys Black (3-0)
- 2009 Boys Blue (3-0-1)
Finalists Include:
- 2009 Boys Black (2-1-1)
- 2008 Boys Black (1-0-2)
The Girls program statistics were equally as impressive with an overall record of 11-2-2. They had four championships.

- 2010 Girls Black (2-0-1)
- 2009 Girls Gold (3-0)
In total the club went 34-14-8 this weekend in the pre-season tune-up. With many teams showing promise even if not celebrated on the the big stage. In fact, every team from the club had a positive result! Congratulations to all players. Thank you to all coaches, staff and families that spent their weekend on the fields supporting the club!
