DME Academy Sarasota has officially signed an agreement with MLSGO to launch a fully reimagined recreational soccer program beginning in Spring 2026. This partnership reflects everything DME has been building toward for years. It combines elite development standards with true community access and opens the door for every young athlete who loves the game.

MLSGO was created to make soccer accessible to all families. One of its strongest features is the MLSGO Fund, which offers financial support to players based on need. This program eliminates traditional barriers and gives Sarasota families a reliable, affordable, high quality option that still carries the professionalism and care DME is known for.

Under the new partnership, DME will continue holding its strong developmental identity during weekday sessions. Training will follow the same standards and methodology used across the academy and early development programs. The new addition is weekend gameplay via MLSGO where children will be placed onto teams, compete, learn, and enjoy the experience of real matches in a supportive environment.

The structure has been carefully designed to keep quality at the center. The program will include three age divisions for the spring session. The groups will be six and seven year olds, eight and nine year olds, and a ten through twelve division. Each age group will include only four teams, which allows DME to maintain its expectations around coaching, support, development, and a consistent player experience.

The league begins on February 25th and will run for seven weeks. Registration is one hundred and seventy five dollars per player and includes an MLS branded Inter Miami kit. Families who qualify for financial support can apply through the MLSGO Fund, ensuring that cost is never the reason a child cannot play.
