Lysochenko

Artem is an experienced soccer player and coach with a playing background spanning Ukraine and the United States. His soccer journey began at Dush 15 Academy in Ukraine, where he played from 2006–2011 and competed in international tournaments throughout Europe against professional academies. During his youth career, he earned individual honors including Most Promising Player at Ukraine’s U9 National Tournament and Best Midfielder at an international U10 tournament in Hungary.

After moving to the United States, Artem continued his development with Staten Island United and later Cedar Stars Academy, competing at a high level throughout his youth career. He also became a varsity starter as a freshman at Susan E. Wagner High School, helping his team complete an undefeated season and reach the State Finals while earning Rookie of the Year honors.

At the senior level, Artem has competed extensively in semi-professional soccer, including multiple seasons in the UPSL. He captained SOAP FC during its inaugural UPSL season, earning Player of the Season honors and helping lead the club to promotion. He later contributed to another promotion with FC Future and has also represented FC Dynamo NJ, FC Ulqini, Richmond County FC, and Leone Stars of New York, where he helped lead the team through an undefeated season and promotion.

Most recently, Artem competed in the UPSL Premier Division with DME Academy and is currently a member of PCU Pelicans, the defending UPSL Premier Division champions.

Artem brings years of competitive experience, leadership, and a lifelong passion for the game. As a coach, he looks to help young players build strong technical fundamentals, confidence on the ball, creativity, and—most importantly—a genuine love for soccer.
