Coach Eder Guanipa is a versatile, lifelong sports educator and professional engineer with eight years of youth soccer coaching experience spanning three different clubs and age groups from U7 to U14. Coach Guanipa currently coaches for DME Sarasota Academy, where he brings a unique, analytical approach to player development and tactical discipline. Holding a USSF D License, Coach Guanipa first transitioned into soccer to support his son’s early steps in the sport, bringing with him a rich athletic background that includes competitive boxing in his youth, as well as playing baseball, softball, football, tennis, and volleyball. His deep understanding of athletic development and rules execution is backed by years of experience coaching youth baseball, softball, and volleyball, alongside extensive work as a referee and umpire for volleyball, basketball, football, baseball, and softball. Coach Guanipa channels this comprehensive sporting knowledge, boxer’s discipline, and strategic engineering mindset into his core philosophy: a team is a family where success is entirely built on each member doing their job. His sessions at DME Sarasota Academy prioritize role clarity, mutual trust, and the collective accountability needed to succeed both on and off the pitch.
