Jake

Jake comes to DME Academy with an impressive playing and coaching career. He played college soccer at Briar Cliff University where he was a starter and captain of the team. He earned GPAC First Team All-Conference and earned the 2018 United Soccer Coaches NAIA Men’s All-Plains Region Second Team. After college, Jake went on to play semi-professionally in the NPSL in South Dakota.

As a coach, Jake is a student of the game. He has coached at Lakewood Ranch High School as an Assistant on the Boy’s Varsity Coach for 5 seasons. The team won 2 district championships, 2 regional championships, and 1 state final appearance. During their impressive run in 2019/20, the team was ranked #4 in the country

Jake has also coached at local soccer clubs in the area for the past four years spending time with Braden River Soccer Club working on the boys’ side of the game across U10-U19 age groups. Most notably, he won the ECNL-R league title with the 04/05 boys for the 2022/23 season going undefeated with 11 clean sheets in 16 games.

At DME Academy, Jake led the 05/06 boys team to the Elite Academy National Championship in St. Louis, finishing as a Top 16 team in the country. In 24/25, Jake will coach the 2011 and 06/07  age groups.
