Setting the Standard Across Every Age Group
The National Academy League has become a top league in and of itself but also a proving ground to higher levels of play, and DME Academy, Sarasota is leaving no doubt about who owns the spotlight halfway through the season. With nearly every boys’ team sitting atop their division (5 out of 6), the program is rewriting what excellence looks like in Florida youth soccer. Overall the club is 43-1-2 and has outscored the opponents 260 to 32.
2008/07 Boys – Relentless and Ruthless
The oldest boys’ group has been a force, boasting a 8-0-1 record with an incredible 37 goals scored and just 5 conceded. Their combination of maturity, experience, and tactical sharpness has made them one of the most complete teams in the league. Sitting firmly in first place, they’ve shown what happens when leadership meets accountability—DME style.
2009 Boys – Unstoppable Momentum
Perfect in league play at 8-0, the 2009 boys have outscored opponents 40-3, displaying a balanced attack and airtight defense. This group has developed a reputation for relentless work rate and owning 1v1 scenarios. Every match feels like a statement that DME’s development model works—and wins.
2010 Boys – The Standard Bearers
Perhaps the most dominant of all, the 2010 boys are redefining the meaning of offensive firepower. With an astonishing 57 goals for and only 4 against, they sit at 8-0 and in first place. Their performances have been nothing short of spectacular, showcasing technical precision, speed, and teamwork that rivals top academy programs in the country.
2011 Boys – Battle-Tested and Climbing
The 2011 boys currently stand at 5-1-1, securing second place with a +18 goal differential (29 goals for, 11 against). Their growth this season has been tremendous, blending a team first mentality with grit. Every result reflects the group’s hunger to reach the next level.
2012 Boys – Pure Dominance
The 2012 boys are a coach’s dream—disciplined, technical, and fearless. Their 7-0 record and 53-4 goal difference speak volumes. They control games with possession and precision, and their undefeated run proves the model works.
2013 Boys – Young & Hungry
The youngest age group in the spotlight, the 2013 boys, have stunned opponents with their 7-0-1 record, scoring 44 goals while conceding just 5. Their chemistry, energy, and attacking mindset make them one of the most exciting teams to watch.
