SM Caen (2002–2006): Zubar began his professional journey with SM Caen in France, making his debut in 2003. Over three seasons, he accumulated 96 appearances and scored two goals, playing a pivotal role in the team’s promotion to Ligue 1 and their subsequent French League Cup final appearance in 2005.
