Position Summary

DME Academy is seeking passionate, motivated, and professional Head Coaches to join our coaching staff.

This role is responsible for leading one or more academy teams while delivering a consistent, high-performance training environment aligned with the DME Academy philosophy. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for long-term player development.

This is an Independent Contractor (IC) position with competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions.
  • Lead the team during league matches, showcases, tournaments, and other competitions.
  • Create a positive, demanding, and professional learning environment.
  • Develop players technically, tactically, physically, and mentally.
  • Implement the DME Academy playing philosophy and coaching methodology.
  • Attend and actively contribute to staff meetings and coaching education sessions.
  • Collaborate with fellow coaches to ensure consistency across the academy.
  • Complete player evaluations and provide meaningful developmental feedback.
  • Communicate professionally with players, parents, and academy staff.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism on and off the field.
  • Support academy events, tryouts, camps, and other club initiatives as needed.

  • Reliable transportation.

Equivalent experience and qualifications will also be considered.

Position Summary

This role works alongside the Head Coach to help deliver a consistent, high-performance training environment aligned with the DME Academy philosophy. The Assistant Coach supports session delivery, player development, and matchday operations while continuing to grow as a coach. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, coachability, and a genuine passion for long-term player development.

  • Communicate professionally with players, parents, and academy staff.

  • Help manage equipment, setup, and logistics for training and matchdays.
