DME Academy, Sarasota (formerly Next Generation Soccer Academy) has leveled up its league play for the U13-U19 boys division of the program by being accepted into the Elite Academy League effective immediately. Our first team’s (known as DME Black) will enter the Southeast Conference and compete with some of the best clubs across the region including PSG, Juventus & Pinecrest from the Miami, FL region next season.
The Elite Academy League provides a National platform for aspiring clubs and athletes that demand more. They boast seven conferences and hundreds of teams that share a proven track record of success. The league also offers national events, showcases, and talent ID events for its members opening up visibility and pathways for the more dedicated player.
“We are excited to join the Elite Academy League. Between the professionalism and growth of the league, high level of competition, showcase & ID identifier opportunities, and national platform – this league offers DME Academy Sarasota players exactly what they deserve. We couldn’t be more excited for the Sarasota Program.” says, Technical Director & High School National Team Coach at DME Academy, Thales Peterson.
The move marks a big shift in competitive league play for the boy’s side of the club, with the program moving away from the ECNL-R and into the Elite Academy League. Next Generation finished middle of the table as an aggregate program in just its first year of ECNL-R and was crowned the best 2010 boy’s team in the state with an impressive 15-1 regular season record. This team will now head to Norco, CA for Nationals to finish off the ’22/’23 season.
“The future is bright for this club, coaching staff, and the players and families that demand more from their youth soccer experience. The Elite Academy offers a welcomed change and new challenge to our club. Let’s go!” – Jared Antista, GM
