DME Academy Joins National Academy League (NAL) on the Boys’ Side: A Major Step Toward MLS Pathway

DME Academy, one of Florida’s premier soccer development programs, is thrilled to announce its entry into the National Academy League (NAL) on the boys’ side, marking a new era for both the academy and its players. This exciting development brings DME Academy into a national spotlight, joining an elite group of clubs that offer players a direct and competitive pathway to MLS2 & MLS1.

The National Academy League has long been recognized as one of the premier leagues for youth soccer in the United States. It provides talented players an opportunity to compete against some of the country’s most competitive and well-established clubs. Beginning at the U13 level, the league has now partnered with the MLS to form a new tier of competition, opening the doors for even more players to dream of and achieve a future in professional soccer.

A New Pathway to MLS

 In the 2025/26 season, the academy’s commitment to developing players who can compete at the highest levels will be in full force. With MLS, MLS2, NAL & EAL joining forces, the roadmap to success has never been more achievable. This new alliance means that NAL is no longer just a national competition, but also a potential stepping stone to an MLS2 and MLS1 based on merit and growth.

New Teams Joining the League

The 2025 season also brings exciting growth to the National Academy League with the inclusion of new teams. Notable clubs joining the league include:

  • Key Biscayne Soccer Club
  • FC Florida
  • Nona Soccer Academy
  • Atlético Madrid (U.S. Academy)
  • Miami Breakers FC

This influx of talented teams from across the country ensures the level of competition in the NAL will continue to rise. The addition of these prestigious clubs further solidifies the league’s reputation as one of the most competitive youth soccer environments in North America.

What This Means for DME Academy Players

By joining the National Academy League, DME Academy’s boys’ teams will now have the opportunity to face off against some of the top youth soccer programs in Florida.
