DME Academy Sarasota Girls Program on the Rise
October 23, 2025
The fall season has been a strong one for the DME Academy Sarasota girls program, with teams across all age groups showing impressive growth, competitive consistency, and the kind of grit that defines DME soccer. From August through October, the girls side has compiled an overall record of 60 wins, 12 ties, and 28 losses, a testament to the program’s depth, balance, and commitment to development.
Competing at Every Level
From our youngest age groups to our oldest, the girls program continues to demonstrate skill, unity, and competitive fire. The 2015/16 Girls from Tampa are off to a solid start at 5-2-2, showing tremendous progress and energy in their early stages of full-field play. The 2015 Tiki Taka team, known for their creative flair and quick ball movement, sits at 5-5, learning to turn their style into results week after week.
The 2014 Girls are leading the next wave of talent, boasting an 11-2-3 record—one of the best across the entire girls program. Their performances at top-tier tournaments have cemented their place as one of the most exciting young squads in the region.
Middle School Age Dominance
The 2012 Girls Black team continues to perform at an elite level, going 11-1-3 this fall, including several statement wins over nationally recognized opponents. Their sister squad, the 2012 Girls Blue, sits at 6-1-5, reflecting the strength and depth within that age group. The 2011 Girls, at 7-1-5, continue to show strong technical ability and a maturing sense of tactical awareness, setting the stage for long-term success.
Older Teams Setting the Standard
At the top of the girls pyramid, the 2009 Tiki Taka team has posted a competitive 7-2-3 record, playing some of their best soccer yet in both league and tournament play. Meanwhile, the 2008/07 group has continued to raise the bar with an 8-3-2 record against high-level competition, showcasing leadership, composure, and the trademark DME mentality.
A Unified Culture of Growth
Together, the girls program’s collective record of 60-12-28 reflects not just wins and draws, but a commitment to playing the right way—building technically sound, confident athletes who understand the game at a deeper level.
“What stands out most is the consistency and attitude of our girls,” said Jared Antista. “We’re developing tactically sound players, athletes that play the game the right way.”
With strong performances at tournaments like the Tampa Cup, WAGS, and Lake Nona Season Opener, and more on the horizon, DME Academy girls program continues to prove that their standard of excellence isn’t coming—it’s already here.
