NAL Domination: DME Academy Sarasota Sets the Tone Early
September 21, 2025
Three weeks into the season, DME Academy Sarasota’s boys program is making a statement in the National Academy League (NAL). In back-to-back-to-back weekends, our teams have swept their opponents, posting an unprecedented 18–0 record.
-
Vs Clay County: 51 goals for, 6 against
-
Vs Florida Prime: 46 goals for, 4 against
-
Vs Lake Nona: 26 goals for, 4 against
That’s a combined 123 goals scored with only 14 conceded in league play. On top of that, our 2009 and 2008/07 squads took down IMG and delivered two more wins against their MLS and MLS2 players.
While we’re proud of the dominant start, our ambitions are much bigger.
“We love the early-season success, but our goals are much bigger. We want to play at an MLS/ECNL level and are building our player pool for that tier of talent. Our boys are talented, motivated and proving themselves week after week and we’re doing it the old fashioned way. We outwork the competition, train more effectively and mix on the field with off the field development.” – John Taylor
This is just the beginning. With unmatched player development, international competition, and a culture of excellence, DME Academy Sarasota is raising the standard for youth soccer in Southwest Florida and beyond.
