2012 Girls Black

about the

2012 Girls Black

The 23/24 season was a huge success for the 2012 Girl’s Black team. They ended the year in the Top Ten in Florida across both GotSoccer Rankings and the Rankings App. They finished the year off with 6 tournament trophies and two second place finishes. They knocked off the #1 team from Rhode Island, RI Surf, tied #18 in the county FC Delco from Pennsylvania and even upset FC Barcelona 2012 girls on their trip to Spain.  These ladies work hard, play for each other and have the “do more every day” mentality. To prepare for 11v11, the girls played in a 2010 age group (in addition to 2012) last season and now have nearly 40 games under their belt on this size field. Overall the girls were 71-6-12. The 2024/25 Season is looking to be even stronger with three new roster pick ups.

At DME Sarasota:

  • We practice to win and we play to win.
  • We expect our players and their families to share that vision when it comes to their development.
  • We are committed to growth, the game, and each other. No exceptions.

The Sunshine Conference is one of 13 Conferences within the National League that offer team-based competition, meaning each team earns its place into the appropriate level of play through its play on the field. The 13 Conferences share national connectivity via the Conference Playoffs, which provide a platform for the top 10 percent of teams from the 3,500+ teams playing in the conferences to come together and compete for an opportunity to continue on the pathway toward the US Youth Soccer National Championships.

*We may also play NPL up a year depending on competition.
