Three Squads. One Mission. Two Trophies. Memorial Day Showcase at Disney

May 27, 2025

This past weekend, DME took three teams up to Orlando for the Disney Memorial Day Showcase—and what a weekend it was. Full of high-level competition, weather delays, fierce battles, and unforgettable moments, our players showed heart, grit, and growth at every turn. We came home with two more trophies and even more fuel for the road ahead. The teams ended the weekend with a 9-3-1 record and took home two trophies.

2010 Boys – Playing Up for Nationals

Our 2010 boys played up an age group as part of their preparation plan for Nationals in St. Louis. They knew it wouldn’t be easy—and it wasn’t. These boys faced off against bigger, stronger, more physical opponents, going 1-1-1 across their matches, certainly battling each game. Their only loss was to Florida Rush 09’s.  The lessons learned will pay dividends when it counts most, next month in St. Louis for the Elite Academy National Championships.

New Partnership, Immediate Results – 2008 Girls Champs

Our newly formed partnership with Tiki Taka, powered by DME absolutely crushed it this weekend. They went a perfect 5-0 and brought home the championship in the 2008 girls bracket. Huge congrats to Marvin Mosquera—and the girls. It’s always exciting when hard work, chemistry, and collaboration come together like that, especially so quickly. Big things ahead for this group!

2012 Girls – Battled All Weekend, Finalists

The 2012 girls had a rollercoaster of a tournament, finished 3-2 and made it all the way to the finals, falling short to a select team called EJ—but the journey there was nothing short of inspiring. After going 2-1 in group play, they  faced San Carlos in PKS, the top seed and undefeated in their bracket. The girls showed nerves of steel—winning 5-4.

All weekend, we preached that adversity builds character—and these athletes lived it. We don’t fear tough games. We don’t shy away from challenges. No matter the opponent, no matter the circumstances—DME shows up and competes. 💪

Thank You to Our Families

To all the families who made the trip, supported the players, dealt with the weather delays, long days, and crazy schedules—thank you. Your support means everything. This culture we’re building—it’s not just about the soccer. It’s about resilience, growth, and community.
