Weekend Recap: DME Academy Closes Out 2025 With Momentum
December 15, 2025
As we move toward the close of 2025, it was another busy and rewarding weekend for DME Academy teams across multiple age groups. From strong performances at top-tier events to championship moments, our players continue to show that development and results can go hand in hand.
Florida Girls Academy Jamboree – Undefeated Runs
The 2015 and 2014 Girls turned in excellent performances at the Florida Girls Academy Jamboree, finishing the weekend with a combined record of 5-0-1. Along the way, they picked up several statement results against Girls Academy & ECNL clubs, showing composure, competitiveness, and growth against high-level opposition. These matches continue to validate the daily work these groups are putting in on and off the field.
IMG Cup – Top Bracket Test for the 2012 Girls and HS Showcase girls
The 2012 Girls competed in the top bracket at the IMG Cup, one of the most demanding environments in the region. The group finished 1-1-1, highlighted by a strong result against No. 5 Florida Premier ECNL and a well-earned win over one of the ICONZ select teams. Facing top competition across three days, the team showed resilience, adaptability, and the ability to perform in pressure moments with style. The HS Showcase team, battling many injuries toughed it out in the top bracket too. The highlight, a 1-0L to #2 in Florida, IMG GA 08/07 girls in the stadium proving that a team with a plan can perform against individuals talent.
Boys Program Success Across the Board
On the boys’ side, the 2014 Boys Black & Blue teams both picked up wins, continuing their positive momentum. The weekend was capped off by a championship performance from the 2012 Boys, who lifted the Winter Cup in Lakewood Ranch, a great reward for their consistency and commitment.
Closing Out 2025 the Right Way
As we wrap up the year, weekends like this reinforce what DME Academy is about: long-term player development paired with competitive excellence. Whether it’s earning results against nationally recognized opponents or celebrating trophy moments, our teams continue to raise the standard.
We’re proud of the players, coaches, and families who make this possible, and we look forward to building on this momentum as we head into 2026.
