The 2024-2025 Elite Academy League season was nothing short of a success for DME Academy, marking an incredible year of achievement, growth, and hope for the future. Across various age groups, DME Academy’s teams showcased remarkable talent, strong coaching, and resilience. From near-perfect seasons to thrilling turnarounds, the academy’s players and coaches delivered impressive performances, setting the stage for an exciting future in the world of youth soccer.
The 2006/07 Team: A Late Season Push Under Coach Jake Dube
The 2006/07 boys’ team had a season to remember. Under the leadership of Coach Jake Dube, the squad finished with an 8-3-2 record, securing second place in the league. What stood out the most was their remarkable victory over the previously unbeaten St. Pete team, which had been a dominant force all season. This stunning win not only showcased the team’s potential but also proved that they are capable of taking on and beating the best.
While the team’s regular season may be over, their journey may not be finished. With a chance to earn a wild card spot for Nationals in St. Louis this June, the DME Academy 2006/07 team remains in the hunt for one of the coveted 16 spots nationwide. Fans and supporters are eagerly awaiting to see if these young athletes can make their mark on the national stage again, after last years impressive elite eight run.
The 2008 Boys: A Strong Finish and Bright Future
The 2008 boys also wrapped up their season on a high note, finishing with a strong 6-3-4 record and a solid fourth-place finish. Though their league season came to a close, the team’s potential cannot be overlooked. With a roster brimming with talent, there is no doubt that DME Academy’s 2008/07 team will be a force to reckon with in the upcoming 2025/26 season. Their growth and development this year have set them up for an exciting future and we give them credit for the ups and downs of competitive sports.

The 2009 boys’ team truly put their stamp on the season with a dominant 10-2-1 record, finishing in first place and punching their ticket to Nationals in St. Louis. Under the guidance of Coach Konrad, the team has become a well-oiled machine, with every player contributing to their success. As the national tournament approaches, DME Academy’s 2009 team is ready to compete for a national title and show the soccer world just what they’re made of. The future looks incredibly bright for this talented group of players, and fans are eagerly anticipating what lies ahead.
The 2010 Boys: Undefeated and Ready for Another Run at Nationals
The 2010 boys’ team is another shining example of DME Academy’s success this season. Coached by ADOC Jon Taylor, the team finished their regular season with an impressive 12-0-1 record, remaining undefeated throughout the year. This outstanding performance has earned them another chance to compete at Nationals in St. Louis, where they will look to improve on last years national championship run. With an undefeated season behind them and an unshakable desire for victory, this team is poised to turn more heads.

The 2011 boys’ team, also coached by Jon Taylor, had an extraordinary season of growth. After finishing last the previous year, the team turned things around in remarkable fashion, finishing fourth in their division. The 2011 boys’ progression is a testament to their hard work, resilience, and strong coaching. With momentum and confidence on their side, this team is set to make an even bigger impact next season.

Though the 2012 boys’ team faced challenges in their first year in the league, they showed a few shining moments that has us thinking, things will be different next season. Despite finishing in seventh place with a 3-7-3 record, the team’s journey was one of growth, development, and valuable learning experiences. The foundation of strong coaching, discipline, and fundamentals is already in place, ensuring that this team will come back stronger next season. DME Academy’s 2012 boys’ team may have had a tough season, but their bright future is undeniable, and they will be ready to rise to the occasion in the years to come.

As the 2024-2025 Elite Academy League season comes to a close, DME Academy stands tall with a year filled with remarkable achievements and progress. From a second-place finish and national hopes for the 2006/07 team, to the undefeated 2010 boys’ squad aiming for a national title, the 2009 national title hopes, to the future promise of the 2008 and 2012 and 2011 teams, DME Academy has proven to be a powerhouse in youth soccer in our area despite local club politics that try to slow our progress.
With strong leadership from coaches like Jake Dube and Jon Taylor and Konrad Kozlowski, the academy’s players have excelled both on and off the field. As DME Academy looks to next season, the future is filled with promise. Expect to see even more success, growth, and national prominence as these young athletes continue to rise to the top. The journey is far from over, and for DME Academy, the best is yet to come considering we’ll play NAL, EA and have heavy national tournament/showcase participation next season.
