DME Sarasota 2010 Boys Finish #3 in the Nation After Incredible Season
June 22, 2025
The 2010 DME Academy Sarasota boys didn’t just meet expectations this season—they set a new standard for excellence across the Academy.
Under the strong leadership of Coach JT, this elite squad put together one of the most dominant campaigns in DME history. They went undefeated in the EA Southeast Division, posting an astonishing 12-0-1 record to claim the division crown in style. They then went 4-0 in the EA Winter Showcase. Week after week, match after match, the boys rose to the occasion—showing quality, composure, and an unshakeable will to win with style and flare.
But they weren’t done.
At the EA National Championships in St. Louis, the 2010s proved their regular season run wasn’t a fluke—it was a warning. They battled past two of the nation’s top sixteen teams in bracket play, earning a place in the prestigious Final Four. In the semifinal, the boys fought through 90+ minutes of tension and intensity, then through extra time in a dead heat, ultimately falling in a heartbreaking penalty shootout where anything can happen. While the final slipped just out of reach, the team walked away with their heads held high and a 3rd-place national finish—the best in the club this season.
Coach JT deserves immense credit for keeping this group focused, fearless, and firing on all cylinders. From domestic dominance to success abroad, his leadership created a culture of belief and excellence that pushed this group to another level.
This team raised the bar for DME Soccer. Their journey this year wasn’t just about results—it was about proving what’s possible when preparation meets passion. With talent, toughness, and a coach who knows how to guide them, this team’s future is blazing bright. Congratulations to Coach JT and the 2010 boys on a historic season—and buckle up, because next year might be even better.
